Ann Deever
Cristyn is an award-winning actor, audition coordinator, and patron services coordinator. In 2001 Cristyn Chandler started taking acting classes at the Old Globe Theater which moved her into a long love of theater. San Diego has a wonderful theater community and she has graced many San Diego stages. She also works as an audition and marketing coordinator for Scripps Ranch Theater. She began her film career by participating in the national organization, 48 Hour Film Project. One of her films, The Heiress Lethal, went on to win city, state, and national recognition, sending the film ultimately to the Cannes Film Festival. In 2010, Cristyn was cast in a recurring role on the short-lived television show, “Terriers-FX”. Cristyn continued to star in short films and in 2018 won a “Best Supporting Actress” San Diego Film Award for the film Isabel. She continues to act in short films, TV, commercials and theater as much as possible!

Leonardo Romero (Frank Lubey, Stage Directions) is a recent alumnus of the National Theatre Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. He was honored as a fellow in the Lin-Manuel Miranda Family Fellowship and continues his training at the Mesa College Theatre Company. Recent stage appearances:

Kate Keller
Deborah Gilmour Smyth is an Associate Artistic Director and a member of the Lamb’s Players Theatre resident ensemble since 1979. With over 200 productions to her credit, she is a seven-time recipient of the San Diego Theatre Critics’ Circle’s Craig Noel Award and has been honored with Backstage West and numerous Patte awards for performance, original music, sound design. Deborah received an Emmy and a Film Consortium San Deigo award for her performance in Aiden Kelter’s short film – Amazing Grace. Deborah has performed in over 170 productions, directed over 70 productions, sound designed, written original music, or musically directed over 80 productions. Deborah and her husband, Producing Artistic Director Robert Smyth, and their buddy “Banjo Billy” make their home in Coronado.

Arthur Miller was one of the greatest American playwrights of the 20th century, celebrated for his powerful and probing dramas that explored the complexities of the human condition and societal norms. Born on October 17, 1915, in New York City, Miller's works are renowned for their deep psychological insight and moral urgency. His most famous play, "Death of a Salesman," which debuted in 1949, won multiple Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, offering a poignant critique of the American Dream. Other significant works include "The Crucible" and "A View from the Bridge." Miller's plays often depicted the struggles of the common man against a hostile society, and his ability to intertwine personal and societal issues made his works timeless. Beyond the stage, Miller was also a prominent essayist and advocate for social justice, which reflected in his writings and public engagements. His influence on American theater and culture remains profound.

Phil Johnson is the Artistic Director and proud co-founder of The Roustabouts Theatre Co. He’s directed for The Roustabouts, Scripps Ranch Theatre, Playwrights Project, and started the new Great Jewish American Playwright Series/JPlays at the JCC. He’s appeared at almost all San Diego theaters and in numerous original solo shows including
A Jewish Joke which opened Off-Broadway in NYC in 2019. As an actor, he’s played in Les Misérables on Broadway and on tour; Canadian production of Sunset Boulevard; and the 1st National Co. of Miss Saigon. He is a two-time winner of the SD Critics Circle Craig Noel Award for acting, and he is a founder of the San Diego Theatre Alliance.
