Over the course of an evening, two couples confront each other and themselves, caught in that margin of error where reason goes blind and passions ignite. MARGIN OF ERROR, a drama full of suspense, twists and turns, revealing that when the heart and truth shine together, they can dispel the dark. A brilliant new battle of will and wit.
CASTING BREAKDOWN FOR “MARGIN OF ERROR”:
Sunita Savarkar Myrvald
An East Indian woman in her mid- to late 40’s. She is attractive in a mødest, mature way. She’s attentive to her looks, but not fashionable. She displays an inward strength and calm gravitas, but is capable of suddenly bursting out with light and humor. She moves gracefully and deliberately, and scrutinizes what others do and say with an objective air. She has deep intellectual reserves, but is not domineering or arrogant.
A man in his late 20’s. He’s polite but somewhat careless in his manners and dress, and he’s handsome. A genial, soft-spoken young man, obviously with a sharp mind but somewhat detached, as if he’s being pulled in many directions at once, and he can’t quite decide which way to go. When he does focus on any particular idea or person or event, it’s with a subtle hint of quiet amusement, as if he’d been pleasantly surprised by it and somewhat embarrassed to show it. This facade hides a well of deep feeling and passion that he may not totally recognize in himself.
A woman in her late 20’s. Attractive, openly sexy without being ostentatious or boldly flirtatious. Some kind of war is waging inside her, and she doesn’t know what side she’s fighting for. She speaks rapidly. Her words want to leap out before she’s fully considered them. She’s passionate and sharp-witted, but quick to go on the defensive if she imagines she’s being criticized or reprimanded. She’s a woman out to prove herself, but she doesn’t understand the person she really is.
